Vagina Plumping Surgery on the Rise

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Just a fair warning – if you are a bit squeamish, you may want to sit this one out and return next week when I talk about something a little more “in the box” (pun intended).

While combing the depths of the Internet this afternoon for plastic surgery blog fodder, I came across an article on vagina plumping surgery. That’s right, it is exactly what it sounds like. Women who want cushier, plumper vaginas can now go to their local plastic surgeon for a bit of increased volume.

This should not be confused with the labiaplasty, which has been around for years now. With a labiaplasty, also called a labia minora reduction, you can trim away unwanted sections down there so that you have a nice, neat looking vagina. It is essentially a designer vagina, such as what you would expect to see from a stripper or a porn star. Nevertheless, everyday women who do not fornicate in public for a living have this procedure performed on a regular basis.

Personally, it seems like a lot of money to spend on a cosmetic procedure that very few people will ever get to see, but hey – if you need to feel more comfortable with your vagina, who am I to say you shouldn’t go for it.

Anyway, the vagina plumping procedure is a whole different beast. Also called labia majora augmentation, it involves using liposuction to remove fat from another part of your body, such as your thighs, abdomen, or back. This fat will then be processed and re-injected into your vagina to give it a plumper appearance. Apparently, it is does not cause very much pain or bruising, and if you are a quick healer, you may even be back in the saddle riding your partner like a bucking bronco in a few short days.

So you might be wondering who, other than strippers and porn stars, regularly choose to undergo vagina plumping. An excellent question. Please allow me to enlighten you. Typical candidates:

  • Have popped out a few kids and feel that their vagina lacks the zest it once enjoyed before childbirth
  • Have undergone significant weight loss which has left them with a somewhat saggy vagina
  • Have always wished their vagina was a bit plumper, for whatever the reason

Of course, you also get the added benefit of a trimmer body contour due to the liposuction that supplies your genitalia with the fat injection. At least others will get to see those results in their full glory, even if they don’t know the real motivation behind your cosmetic enhancement.

If you live in the Dallas, Texas area and have always dreamed of having a plumper vagina, help is just around the corner. Please contact experienced Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Vasdev Rai today to schedule your free initial consultation. You know what they say – the bigger the cushion, the harder the pushin’.

20% of British Women would Dump their Spouse if Plastic Surgery Made them Beautiful

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

I know the British are a bit vain, but this goes entirely too far. A new study released by The Good Surgeon Guide, Britain’s leading cosmetic treatment review website, indicated that 19% of women would leave their spouse if they were able to achieve their dream body through plastic surgery.

No kidding. One in five British women (1,261 women were interviewed for the study) would gladly upgrade to a more attractive partner if they had the ability to command one. But wait, it gets worse – 62% of these women wouldn’t even feel guilty about ending their current relationship. So much for the sanctity of marriage.

Even more alarming is the fact that 14% of these women have been in their relationship for more than 10 years. A lot of these women have been married for a long time and, in theory, should have a bond with their husband that extends way beyond the fact that they are not attractive enough to land a better looking man.

Of course, maybe there are other issues in these marriages causing them to want to run for the hills. And as someone who has never been married, I may not be the best person to judge others on the sorry state of their nuptials.

However, 20% is a very large number. If it were 3-5%, you might be able to argue that these people are simply in bad marriages that are most likely headed for divorce anyway. But 20% is a whole different beast. We are talking about a lot of women who decided to marry someone they are not attracted to because they felt they couldn’t do any better. Way to go ladies. Shoot for the stars.

There is a flip side to this. Approximately 22% of women interviewed believed that their husband might leave them for a more attractive woman. I suppose self confidence is a clear issue at play with many British women. I wonder what percentage of women ready to jump ship for a better looking man after plastic surgery also were afraid their husband was plotting the same exact move. That would have been an interesting statistic to include in this study.

For all you crazy British ladies out there searching for the right plastic surgeon to help you bust free of your loveless marriage, I have this to say to you – either grow some balls and leave now in your current state of attractiveness or suck it up and accept your lot with your current man. Getting plastic surgery to boost your chances once you hit the singles scene is a cowardly move. Besides, your stock on the free agent market will most likely plummet once these better looking dudes discover the truth about your vanity and low self confidence. This may be a bit harsh, but I speak the truth.

Oh, and one more thing. Plastic surgery may make these women more attractive, but it certainly won’t fix all of their personality flaws. Ultimately, any enhancement to their physical beauty will probably be negated by their whopping psychological baggage. What these women really need is therapy.

If you live in the Northern Virginia area and need a few cosmetic fixes to help you upgrade to a more attractive husband, please contact the Virginia Center for Plastic Surgery today to schedule your initial consultation. But be warned, I will think you are a horrible person, and I’ll wish a lifetime of bad karma to hit you and your new, more attractive husband.

Woman’s 38KKK Breast Implants May Prove Fatal

Friday, July 16th, 2010

Apparently, it is possible for your breast implants to be too big for your own good. Just ask Sheyla Hershey, the Texas woman who currently holds the world record for largest breasts (they’re 38KKK – that’s right, I didn’t misprint it, 38KKK!).

About a year and a half ago, I blogged about this fiasco after Sheyla went through with her 9th breast augmentation to increase her 34FFF cups to her current world record size. It was only a matter of time before she gave me reason to write a follow-up. I’m just surprised it took this long.

It appears that Sheyla has recently developed a staph infection in both breasts which may prove fatal if the infection spreads to her bloodstream. Of course, the reason for the infection is her freakishly large implants, each of which contains more than a gallon of silicone. Imagine walking around with two one-gallon milk jugs attached to your chest. That is what life feels like for Sheyla every day. Doesn’t that sound lovely?

According to one plastic surgeon, these problems are quite common among women who don’t understand the meaning of the word moderation. Overly large breast implants which are grossly disproportionate to a woman’s frame can easily create a build-up of pressure in the region, causing the incision to open up and allowing bacteria to enter the breast pocket. This seems to be what has occurred with Sheyla.

To be honest, I don’t feel all that bad for her. A red flag should have gone off when no plastic surgeon in the state of Texas would agree to perform her record setting breast augmentation. Texas, where bigger is always better, had to draw a line here. That says a lot. But Sheyla was determined to make sure that no one would ever come close to robbing her of the title “World’s Largest-Breasted Woman.” So she hopped on a plane to have the procedure performed in Brazil, where apparently their standards are a bit more lax than those in Texas (go figure).

There is a bit of irony in this entire situation. In order to treat the staph infection, doctors will have to remove not only the implants, but most likely her breasts as well. The procedure will be similar to a mastectomy. When it is all said and done, Sheyla will have gone from the world’s largest breast size to almost no breast size. Well, I’m sure it was a good run at the top while it lasted.

After her last breast augmentation, Sheyla was quoted as saying, “Everybody’s got a dream inside, you know? And it’s good when you can make your dream come true.” I suppose two gallons of silicone in your chest is not exactly what I would have ever expected to hear as being someone’s lifelong dream, but I suppose there’s no accounting for character or taste. However, it is pretty clear that Sheyla’s dream has finally turned into one whopper of a nightmare.

If you live in the Dallas, Texas area and are interested in breast augmentation, please contact experienced Dallas breast surgeon Dr. Vasdev Rai today to schedule your free initial consultation. But remember, even in Texas, they will not sign off on 38 KKKs, so make sure you request a reasonable sized implant.

Pamela Anderson Claims She’s Scared of BOTOX

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

Normally, I try to avoid blogging about celebrity plastic surgery at all costs. I pretty much feel that it is tacky, and to be honest, I really could care less which of these celebrity fame whores has gone under the knife. They are already in the public spotlight more than enough. They don’t need my help.

But in this particular situation, I have to bend my own rules a bit. The hypocrisy in this story is just too rich to ignore.

In a recent magazine interview, Pamela Anderson was quoted as saying she has never gotten BOTOX because it scares her. I find this to be a rather amusing comment coming from a woman who has been married to two of the dirtiest dudes in rock n’ roll (Tommy Lee and Kid Rock). Unprotected sex with rock stars who most likely have some serious STDs is not very scary, but a little BOTOX, now that’s enough to keep you awake late at night.

Furthermore, it’s not as if she’s afraid of plastic surgery. There are not very many women throughout Hollywood that are more plastic than Pam. In the early 90s, she was the poster girl for breast augmentation, as her silicone jugs would bounce up and down in every living room in America for an hour each week during Baywatch. And let’s not forget her porn star lips which have clearly been injected with some sort of dermal filler. But she draws the line at BOTOX. That is way too scary for her to even think about.

According to Anderson, “I just don’t think I should go that way, especially at 43. I think I should just age. I’ve never been the prettiest person, and I don’t feel I need to chase youth.” Interesting insight from a woman who spent all of the peak days of her youth chasing the perfect body. Honestly, I really don’t see the difference.

She also claims, “I don’t put a lot of effort into myself with beauty products and hair care. I haven’t had a facial for awhile. I like to be natural.” So she wants us to believe that her bleach-blonde hair is all naturale? Hmm. Does she think the American public is that stupid? Also, if you have huge breast implants, how can you ever look someone in the eye and say you like to be natural? It’s not as if anyone on the planet will take these comments seriously.

I do applaud Pamela Anderson for refraining from BOTOX, unlike the vast majority of her celebrity counterparts. It seems that in her middle age, she might have finally reached the point of being comfortable in her own skin. Lucky for her she made enough money on Baywatch to cover the massive price tag it took for her to achieve this comfort level.

But I would like to offer a slightly different insight as to why she has boldly chosen to forego BOTOX and other facial plastic surgery procedures in an attempt to age gracefully and naturally. The real reason – what’s the point? She’s an also-ran.

Other than her legendary sex tape with Tommy Lee, she hasn’t had a single moment in the past 15 years where she has done anything viable. No one is knocking down her door to give her TV and movie roles, you never see her on the cover of magazines, and she doesn’t even register very much on the radar of the paparazzi anymore. Since the rest of the world has clearly forgotten about her, why would it matter if she starts showing some signs of age? It’s not like people will start to care about her again if she looks artificially young for her age.

Besides, BOTOX or no BOTOX, she will always look fake. While this look helped her land some of the largest roles of her career (could you see her on Baywatch without those fake boobs? I can’t.), it has also passed her by. Pamela Anderson, welcome to Purgatory. You are now a middle-aged former TV star who has lost the one trait that made you famous in the first place – your sex appeal. Just don’t blatantly lie to the rest of the world about your reasons for accepting this fate. It’s rather insulting to those of us with at least half a brain.

If you live in the Los Angeles, California area, are not afraid of BOTOX, and would like to get rid of some of those wrinkles that have been creeping up on you, please contact the experienced Los Angeles plastic surgeons at Bray Plastic Surgery Medical Center today to schedule your free initial consultation.

Jessica Alba Rescues Fan from Getting Plastic Surgery to Look Like Her

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

Several months ago, I wrote about a woman from China who wanted to get plastic surgery to look like Jessica Alba in an attempt to win back her boyfriend. Of course, to everyone around the world who heard this story, it sounded like a nightmare waiting to unfold. Beyond the obvious psychological issues surrounding a woman who would radically alter her appearance to win back an estranged boyfriend, there is the other obvious issue – are there really any plastic surgeons out there talented enough to make an Asian girl look like a famous Caucasian bombshell? The potential for disfigurement was so strong, it is amazing that this woman did not recognize the risks herself. I guess love can make you blind.

Xiaoqing, the Chinese woman planning on undergoing extensive body contouring and facial plastic surgery procedures
to look just like Jessica Alba, had even found a doctor to perform the procedures. I’m sure there are plenty of ethical issues surrounding this surgeon’s decision to take on Xiaoqing as a patient, but that is most likely for another post.

Eventually, news of this fiasco traveled from Shanghai to the United States, and Jessica Alba became aware of the situation. Rather than shrugging this off as the actions of a crazy fan, Jessica Alba took action. She reached out to Xiaoqing and staged an intervention of sorts.

Several weeks ago, Xiaoqing received a phone call from Jessica urging her to call off the surgery. Jessica told the troubled, broken-hearted woman, “I think you should never have to change yourself like that. If somebody loves you, they’ll love you no matter what.”

These words had a tremendous impact on Xiaoqing, causing her to have a change of heart. Xiaoqing has called off the surgery thanks to Jessica Alba’s insight. I must applaud the actress for her depth and integrity regarding this matter. It would have been much easier for her to do nothing and simply laugh with the rest of us when the before and after photos were posted on the Internet.

Of course, Xiaoqing still has an assortment of psychological issues to deal with, including her obsession with an ex-boyfriend who most likely would not have returned to her once she jumped off a cliff, transforming herself into a replica of his favorite actress. But at least she can now sort out these issues looking like herself. In the long run, she will be much better off for this decision. I can’t imagine too many men would want to take the relationship plunge with her once she looked like Jessica Alba. The “psycho” red flag would be waving high in the sky.

If you are interested in plastic surgery in the Naples, Florida area, please contact experienced Naples plastic surgeon Dr. Manuel Peña today to schedule your free initial consultation. However, if you want to look like a celebrity to win back your boyfriend, you may want to visit a psychologist first.
